Tom Garland was Co-Founder of Hydr8inc, a stealth cloud-based wearable personal hydration tracking platform sold to large health and fitness brands.

Tom works closely with venture capital firms and start-up founders as an interim executive launching new and innovative companies. In this capacity, Tom as served as interim CEO of Evernote, an industry leading cloud based notes application with 250M registered users where he was responsible for writing the business plan, raised the initial venture capital funding and managing all functions of the company; Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Snaptell, a mobile image recognition application sold to Amazon; Head of Product Development for Intellectual Ventures, a multi-billion dollar intellectual property investment fund; interim Vice President of North American Corporate Marketing for ABBYY, a global leader in data capture and digital transformation. Prior to ACT Venture Partners, Tom was Vice President of Network Programming and Business Development at Mpath (IPO) and Director of Business Development and founding member of the management team for SGI’s Silicon Studio.
